Job Summary
To develop and manage collection products in line with the strategic goals objectives and longterm plans of the bank.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and Implement Innovative Collection solutions in line with customer s business needs.
- Drive growth in Bank collection market share in relation to Industry.
- Drive growth in collections across various channels/touchpoints (InBranch Mobile POS Online etc.)
- Generate revenue for the Bank from fees and commissions.
- Ensure effective / efficient implementation of bank wide policies with respect to collections.
- Continuously identifying loopholes in existing solutions with a view to delivering enhancement in meeting contemporary and future needs
- Proactively search for business organizations and establishing relationship with them with a view to creating mutual business benefits with positive impact on the bottom line.
- Establish and sustain business focused relationships with all stakeholders i.e. Market facing stakeholders (branches/business or marketing segments/vendors).
- Continuously develop and build capacity among stakeholders.
- Continuously review business performance across product lines and yardsticks.
- Vigorously pursue profitability improvement and cost optimization.
- Leads the review and Implementation of SLAs.
- Business profiling and prospecting.
- Report and update Management on status developments impacts and required needs for performance enhancements.
- Conduct routine peer review and product bench marking amongst competing banks and products.
- Liaise with Service & Technology to ensure all issues relating to collections channels and services are resolved swiftly.
- Provision of data insights & analytics for business review and decision making.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers in sales of Cash Management and other Transactional Banking products.
- Maintain contact with Industry experts on collections solutions (Emerging & Existing).
- Drive competitive product pricing and monitor concessions for compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Head Cash Products or HOD Transaction Banking Trade & Cash
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum education level A good first degree in any discipline a master s degree will be an added advantage
- A minimum of eight (8) years experience in a bank / financial institution with the last six (6) in Transactions processing and Management
