Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing database solutions to store and retrieve company information.
- Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Work with the development team to design and implement database solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
- Participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
- Assist in ensuring data security and integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and optimize database applications.
- Assist in database testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in ongoing learning and skills development in the field of database development.
- Support the team in adhoc databaserelated tasks and projects.
- Assist in data migration and integration projects.
- Contribute to the improvement of database design and architecture.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Understanding of SQL and MySQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of database design and development principles.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detailoriented with strong attention to accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of database security and data integrity principles.
- Experience with database management tools and platforms.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Previous internship or experience in a related field is a plus.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle is advantageous.
