Job Description
The Job Overview
We are seeking a fundraising consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying potential sponsors and donors as well as securing their support. Collecting online donations using our website & social media flatform
Youll also be responsible for creating and sending out proposals.
Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a fundraising consultant is expected to assume in their position.
- Identify and approach potential sponsors donors and granters
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors
- Create and maintain donor database
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and activities
- Conduct research and write proposals
- Account for and track donations
- Create and maintain financial reports
- Gather information for grant proposals
- Prepare budgets and financial reports
- Maintain donor records and files
- Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Below are the qualifications expected of a fundraising consultant:
A bachelor s degree isn t required but recommended
Fundraising experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Selfmotivated and a selfstarter with an outgoing personality
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
