About Us:
RADISE India and Smart Structures is at the forefront of transforming how infrastructural projects and assets are managed and optimized through technology. Our flagship product SmartInfra Hub integrates project lifecycle management realtime sensor data analysis and comprehensive asset management into a cohesive platform. We are looking for a GIS Specialist to enhance SmartInfra Hub with advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities enabling spatial data analysis and visualization to inform better decisionmaking processes.
Position Summary:
The GIS Specialist will play a critical role in integrating GIS functionalities into SmartInfra Hub. You will be responsible for developing and implementing GIS solutions that meet the spatial data visualization and analysis needs of our users working closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration with existing modules.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement GIS applications and tools within SmartInfra Hub enhancing its project and asset management capabilities with spatial data visualization and analysis.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate GIS functionalities into the SmartInfra Hubs existing architecture.
- Manage spatial databases ensuring high performance scalability and data integrity.
- Develop custom GISbased web applications and services using modern web development technologies and frameworks.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide GIS technical support and solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of geospatial data.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and methodologies incorporating innovative approaches into SmartInfra Hub.
- Provide training and support to users on GIS features and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Geographic Information Systems Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a GIS Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of GIS projects.
- Proficient in GIS software and tools (e.g. ArcGIS QGIS GeoServer) and spatial databases (e.g. PostGIS MongoDB with GeoJSON).
- Experience with web development technologies (JavaScript HTML5 CSS) and frameworks/libraries (e.g. Leaflet OpenLayers Mapbox).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud services (Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
