We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data ensuring data integrity and supporting various administrative functions.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and update data into databases and systems accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and review data for errors or discrepancies and make corrections as needed.
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper files to ensure data accessibility.
- Assist with data analysis and generating reports as required.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure the security of data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
- Respond to datarelated inquiries and provide support for data management tasks.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a qualification in administration or a related field (advantageous).
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel) and data entry software (e.g. CRM systems).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
