Job Description
Our client is a luxury African fashion brand that specializes in apparel designs for the elite class with a strong root in its African heritage that connotes elegance and class.
The Company is seeking to hire an efficient and productive Production manager who will work closely with the Founder to oversee the entire operations of all production activities and ensure strict quality control is adhered to in the delivery of each piece.
The Production Manager will be responsible for all the production activities in line with the standard operating procedure (SOP) and quality guidelines. This supervisory role will seek to create maintain and assess opportunities for continuous improvements to make the operations of the production effective and efficient. In addition this role will ensure that Revenue Growth Profitability and Brand Objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize production processes from sourcing materials to manufacturing and quality control.
Identify and streamline bottlenecks implement improvements and boost overall operational efficiency.
Work closely with design teams to understand design specifications and quality expectations
Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Manage and motivate operational staff providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance
Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational strategies that align with business goals.
Maintain and improve the wellbeing of tailors.
Identify and manage potential risks and disruptions to ensure smooth operations and product delivery.
Requirements
3 years work experience as a Production manager in a leading clothing/fashion design house.
Proximity to the Island is highly required
Must be an effective communicator
Successful managerial experience of a team
Excellent writing skills
Must have an eye for detail and a strong quality control procedure
Ability to take initiative and good problemsolving skills
Must possess a strong work ethic and astute professional by nature
Must have a tenacious approach and must be able to work well with people
Benefits
Compensation: Basic Pay is N250k monthly Other benefits
