Accounting Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst for our client within their investment division focusing on financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering detailed management reporting and supporting financial planning processes. This position will contribute to maintaining financial integrity and providing key insights for decisionmaking across public and private market investments.

12month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9am to 5pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.
Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models compiling business results and preparing highquality reports for CFOs finance teams and stakeholders. Primary duties include:
Producing comprehensive global management reporting materials for business unit CFOs Group Finance Investor Relations the Board of Directors and external stakeholders.
Supporting the financial planning process for the investment management division ensuring accurate maintenance of annual planning and monthly forecasting models.
Providing timely analysis to finance counterparts to assist with decisionmaking in public and private markets.
Ensuring strong attention to detail and consistency in financial reports and maintaining alignment across business units.
Developing strong relationships with internal business partners and external stakeholders.
Identifying and implementing process improvements related to reporting analysis and financial systems.
Collaborating with the Transformation team to provide data and insights for ongoing system initiatives.
Monthly Responsibilities
Delivering accurate monthly management reporting and preparing financial reports and dashboards.
Supporting variance analysis between actual results budget and forecasts and preparing the Monthly Management Reporting deck.
Assisting with monthly forecasting by evaluating and updating models with new inputs.
Quarterly and Annual Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of quarterly reporting packages including the Quarterly MIS Package for both public and private markets.
Supporting the annual financial planning process managing the planning calendar engaging stakeholders and ensuring accurate and timely financial plan submissions.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance.
Working towards CPA or CFA (considered an asset).
12 years of accounting and reporting experience.
12 years of experience working with financial systems.
Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets.
Minimum intermediatelevel Excel skills.
Control mindset with the ability to apply audit techniques to identify and prevent errors.
Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying information to stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset with a teamoriented attitude.
Proactive initiative showing ownership of deliverables and a cando attitude.
Experience with system implementation (nice to have).
Experience with Anaplan or Essbase (nice to have).
Experience working with forecast and plan models (nice to have).
Proficiency with Power BI or other data visualization tools (nice to have).
