Accounting Manager (CPA)
This role is for our client in the insurance industry. It reports to the Director of Global IT Finance and is an integral part of the IT Finance team focusing on the consolidation and reporting of expenses for the IT function globally. The successful candidate will work across technology teams and prepare monthly global technology reports while collaborating extensively with teams across multiple business units and markets (US Canada Asia GWAM and Corporate). This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with executive leadership gaining valuable experience in highlevel reporting and communication.

Incorporated Business Rate: $70.00 to $75.12 per hour.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Prepare consolidated technology financial results and analysis.
Play a key role in the annual planning process and monthly reporting of global technology expenses partnering with teams within Global FP&A Accounting Operations Technology Strategy and IT segments.
Gain a solid understanding of current systems and tools to ensure accurate data extraction for consolidation and analysis.
Collaborate with IT Finance segments to understand monthly variances and consolidate commentaries for review.
Perform key financial analysis on technology spend including tracking and reporting of financial KPIs.
Maintain strong working relationships across the IT Finance team.
Provide financial analysis and advice to the IT Strategy team for strategic initiatives analysis and management reporting.
Work to improve processes aiming for efficiency standardization and enhanced quality of information.
Support transformation initiatives within the finance function.
Provide support and analyses for adhoc requests and projects.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance.
Professional accounting designation (CPA CA CGA CMA).
57 years of relevant experience supporting finance functions.
Indepth experience with consolidation budgeting/forecasting management reporting processes controls and proven collaboration within a matrixed organization.
Technical capability to assimilate and summarize information from multiple sources for senior management.
Experience with Power BI and Smart View along with advanced Excel skills.
Experience working globally across multiple time zones (nice to have).
Experience within technology and transformation initiatives (nice to have).
Experience with Anaplan (nice to have).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand financial drivers and use critical thinking to present a coherent narrative.
Confidence with the ability to ask questions and investigate further when needed.
Strong interpersonal skills capable of building relationships and collaborating effectively across the organization.
Ability to communicate complex concepts and results in a clear concise manner.
Resultsoriented able to manage expectations meet tight deadlines and handle competing priorities.
