The Junior Buyer will be responsible for performing various procurement functions in accordance with established procedures. This role involves the management and control of department orders reviewing purchase orders following up with suppliers and providing general administrative assistance. Additionally the Junior Buyer will support the internal sales team and handle supplier and financial queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders in line with procurement processes.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of orders and vendor information.
- Follow up on orders and maintain strong communication with suppliers.
- Provide administrative support such as scanning filing and document management.
- Assist in resolving supplierrelated financial queries.
- Support the stores team with inventoryrelated documentation.
- Assist in onboarding new suppliers including obtaining and verifying necessary documents.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Address any procurementrelated inquiries from internal teams or external customers.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric
- SYSPRO system
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Computer literate

- Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
