Junior Technical Sales Representative
Airport Industrial Cape Town

Leading manufacturer and supplier of products for fastening fixing installing connecting insulating protecting and identifying electrical cables and data network infrastructure seeks a Technical Sales Representative to market their full range of products and services offered by the company with the primary focus being product specification in the enduser markets.
Key Performance Areas Key Work:
Identification and establishment of new business through existing and potential customers.
Preparation of tenders proposals and quotations.
Technical presentations and representation of the company at technical events trade shows and customer shows.
Conversion of customer requirements into product specifications.
Project implementation and management.
Development of enduser sales strategies.
Maintenance of customer communication records and relevant sales data in CRM system.
Regular review of product specification achievements against agreed objectives.

Strong organizational communication and analytical skills.
Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
Excellent administrative skills.
Ability to travel throughout the territory covered by the company.

Suggested Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Postmatric qualification in an Electrical discipline (N6 or equivalent).
A minimum of five (5) years experience in a Technical sales environment.
Experience in project management and product specification.
Experience in the South African electrical industry.
This is a huge opportunity for a young person who wants to grow in the technical specification field in sales. You will be groomed to become a business development specialist. Min N6 Diploma in Electrical or Electronics.
