Oversee the entire MD admissions process including organizing recruitment events evaluating applications conducting interviews and preparing successful applicants for college.
Develop and implement course curricula and actively participate in teaching both preclinical and clinical subjects.
Provide leadership in implementing innovative teaching and learning approaches such as competencybased education and studentcentered learning to ensure students meet program objectives.
Create a learning environment that emphasizes student engagement integration of graduate attributes and alignment with competency standards.
Work closely with graduate medical education leaders to ensure a seamless transition between the MD program and clinical training.
Human Resource Management:
Provide mentorship and support to faculty members in the MD Program.
Deliver formal courses in your area of expertise to medical students and collaborate on other courses as a guest lecturer.
Coach and mentor faculty members to cultivate their leadership skills.
Others:
Establish and strengthen international partnerships to facilitate opportunities for MD program students faculty and staff in areas such as educational exchanges research collaborations professional development and joint projects.
Serve on various science education and professional boards as assigned.
Offer parttime clinical services at universityaffiliated teaching facilities following the best practices in patient care.
A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree is necessary ideally from a highly respected institution.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing medical education programs that meet international standards and accreditation requirements.
Experience in coaching and mentoring educators.
Experience working effectively in a diverse and collaborative educational team environment.
5 years of successful experience in progressively responsible teaching research educational and administrative leadership roles within a university setting.
Preferred experience with accreditation bodies (e.g. ACGME ACGMEI LCME etc.) and ranking systems such as QS.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in an academic environment.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning financial management resource allocation and personnel supervision.
The ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to address challenges and promote the institutions mission.
Proficiency in Vietnamese is a benefit.
Have a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
