As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring planned, effective, and timely talent acquisition of personnel in accordance with the approved manpower plan and valid staff requisitions. You will be expected to source the most competent staff from various countries, to ensure the best possible mix of human resources. Furthermore, you will advertise staff vacancies, assess applications, interview applicants, give selection tests, prepare reports, and make recommendations to management about staff appointments. Finally, support the development of psychometric and personality development tools, instruments, and sophisticated talent acquisition based behavioral assessments to enable the company to use best methods in the selection process.
Job Responsibilities
• Supports the management of the day-to-day performance of the talent acquisition campaign to ensure service standards are achieved - organizes advertising, interviewing and selection processes for recruitment campaigns. Develops talent acquisition plans to undertake selection campaigns Career Fairs to attract potential candidates.
• Applies the best practices and methodology in sourcing Advertisement Agencies / Talent Acquisition Agencies. Personally, assess candidates' competence, cultural fit and motivation, and present a pipeline/ talent pool of candidates to meet the business' resourcing plan for the financial year. Responsible for screening; testing and conducting profile interviewing of all applicants.
• Develops the Joining and Induction processes of new recruits to the company in line with the Employer Brand in liaison with HR Admin to maintain standard employment contracts.
• Responsible for measuring the service standards of 3rd party suppliers and feeding back information from campaigns to ensure service level agreements maintained.
• Implements of generic templates for campaign data collection produce weekly reports for clients and SM on candidate progress and success ratios.
• Promote best practice talent acquisition selection using the selection framework, maintains a close relationship with the Hiring Manager, coaching them through the talent acquisition process, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to candidates and taking ultimate responsibility for high quality hiring decisions and meeting quality of hire metrics.
• Takes a proactive approach in reviewing methodology and practices, making improvement recommendations to the manager with a view to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
• Performs other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
