Job Description
Overview
As a Radiologist Consultant in Amritsar Punjab you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by interpreting medical images and providing accurate and timely radiology reports. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and the overall functioning of the healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures such as Xrays MRI CT scans and ultrasounds
- Collaborating with other medical professionals to discuss and plan patient treatments
- Issuing clear and detailed radiology reports based on image findings
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of all imaging procedures and reports
- Adhering to safety protocols and best practices in radiology
- Participating in departmental meetings conferences and training sessions
- Keeping abreast of new developments and techniques in the field of radiology
- Participating in research and academic activities
- Providing expert consultation to referring physicians
- Supervising and training radiology technologists and support staff
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Participating in quality assurance activities
- Assisting in the development of radiology protocols and procedures
- Responding to emergencies and urgent imaging requests
- Ensuring a high standard of patient care and satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree(MBBS) and specialization in Radiology from a recognized institution
- Registration with the state medical council
- Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Radiologist
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging techniques and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detailoriented and ability to work with precision
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
- Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and ethical standards in radiology practice
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Demonstrated leadership and decisionmaking abilities
