Position is open within the Manufacturing Logistics Energy & Utilities (MLEU)
Consulting unit in Americas region
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consulting Manager specializing in
Supply Chain Management (SCM) to join our consulting team. The ideal
candidate will have 15 years of experience in delivering business
transformation and digital transformation engagements with a focus on
warehouse management (WM) and transportation management (TM). This role
requires expertise in ERP implementations for SCM functional areas the ability
to lead largescale engagements and the skill to drive projects from
requirements gathering to functional design
Primary Job
Responsibilities:
Ideal candidate would be leading Consulting teams who will be responsible for:
Leveraging deep expertise in serving manufacturing clients especially
within supply chain management and provide tailored solutions that
address their specific needs
Proactively identify and assess consulting opportunities within key
accounts leveraging deep knowledge of the manufacturing industry and
understanding of client needs.
Work closely with the Pursuit team and Service Lines in creating
Transformation Solution/ Consulting PoV for large multitower deals
Develop thought leadership on manufacturing industry trends market
dynamics & emerging technologies within manufacturing sector and
effectively communicate insights to internal teams and external
stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationship with key account stakeholders &
practice leadership to drive Cognizant and Consulting sales
Lead the execution of consulting engagements for manufacturing clients
leveraging supply chain management expertise to deliver innovative
solutions that address client needs.
Provide expert guidance on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and
Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Define and implement best practices for supply chain operations
leveraging ERP capabilities (Preferably Oracle)
Lead the functional design and implementation of ERP systems (e.g. SAP
Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) for WM and TM modules.
Liaise with ERP vendors and implementation partners to ensure alignment
of solutions with client objectives
Oversee system integration testing and golive activities for supply chain
solutions
Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams to support
change management
Competencies:
(Desired / Necessary skills
for this role)
15 years of experience in supply chain management consulting with a
focus on WM and TM
Proven track record of leading ERP implementation projects preferably
with SAP WM/TM or Oracle SCM modules
Indepth knowledge of supply chain best practices industry trends and
emerging technologies
Excellent customer facing capabilities and an established track record for
selling & delivering consulting engagements
Experience of working with Clevel executives at the client organization
MBA with an excellent academic background (preferred)
Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP APICS CPIM CSCP Six Sigma) are a
plus.
