Legal Cousnel

• Provide legal advice and guidance to the company s management team on all relevant legal matters
  including criminal law.
  
• Act as key advisor for executive management for exposure mitigation on all fronts including contracts involving provided services employment data and security insurance coverage etc.
  
• Draft review and negotiate legal documents such as contracts NDAs and corporate policies.
  
• Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments and identify potential legal risks.
  
• Take on preparation filing organization and maintenance of corporate books and records including bylaws resolutions board of director changes annual reports etc.
  
• Create company policies as needed but not limited to HR Travel Medical etc.
  
• Manage the companys response to criminal investigations or prosecutions.
  
• Manage outside counsel and other legal service providers.
  
• Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  
• Ensure that the company s activities are conducted in compliance with applicable local national and international laws.
  

Requirements

• 810 years of legal experience with a focus on criminal corporate law labor copyright and/or technology law.
  
• Exposure and experience with local/Pakistani laws is very important for the role.
  
• Strong communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with staff other teams senior management and customers.
  
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
  
• Knowledge of legal research techniques and resources.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  
• Proficiency in using standard office software applications and legal software programs.
  
• Candidates with US/Canada/UK/European Law degree and 510 years of experience working for multinational transnational or US/Canada/European companies focused on criminal law.
  
• Candidates with local LLB/LLM from HEC recognized institutions with 810 years of experience at busy firms focused on criminal law and some exposure to North American and European corporate law are also encouraged to apply.
