Job Description
As a Cloud Engineering Lead you ll play a critical role in designing managing and optimizing cloudbased infrastructure and services. Your responsibilities will span various areas:
1. Design and Development:
- Design and develop cloudbased infrastructure applications and services that align with the organization s requirements.
- Select the appropriate cloud platform (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Create architecture diagrams and develop automation scripts.
- Deployment and Migration:
- Deploy new applications to the cloud.
- Migrate existing applications from onpremises infrastructure to the cloud.
- Ensure seamless migration processes that don t disrupt operations.
- Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor the performance of cloudbased systems.
- Optimize resources for costeffectiveness and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with cloud service providers and vendors.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships.
- Developer Coordination and DevOps Implementation:
- Work closely with developers architects and system administrators.
- Implement DevOps practices ensuring efficient development testing and deployment processes.
- Data Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data security measures are in place.
- Comply with industry standards and regulations.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines Docker Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in technical leadership roles within the BFSI sector with a focus on technology strategy architecture and innovation.
- Deep understanding of financial services industry dynamics including banking operations insurance processes regulatory requirements and risk management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex technology solutions in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in cloud computing preferably with AWS along with knowledge of relevant industry standards and frameworks
(e.g. PCI DSS ).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with Clevel executives and technical stakeholders.
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
