Manager Tax - Accounts Finance

Location: Lahore

Working Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 Pm

Working Days:Mon to Fri (Sat & Sun Off)

Department: Accounts & Finance

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CAQualified)

Experience: Fresh to minimum 1 year of experience in a tax department preferably from a reputable company in Karachi & Lahore

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Filing:

• Facilitate and manage the preparation and timely filing of the companys tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws.Strategic Tax Planning:
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for federal and provincial taxes aligning with the companys financial goals.

Tax Team Management:

• Lead and manage the tax team in preparing components of the companys federal income tax and sales tax returns.

Tax Return Coordination:

• Plan and develop the overall tax return calendar coordinating timing and inputs with the tax team to ensure deadlines are met.

Control Procedures:

• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process ensuring compliance and accuracy

Audit Management:

• Manage and facilitate income tax audits including preparing responses and creating necessary schedules and documentation.

Legislative Monitoring:

• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments communicate their impact to management and the finance team and develop strategies to capitalize on changes in taxation legislation.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the companys tax procedures.

Team Development:

• Mentor and develop tax team members to enhance their effectiveness and engagement within the department.

Experience:

• Fresh to 1 year of experience in a tax department from a reputable company in Karachi.
