Vacancy: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (NGO/Education sector)
Location: Lagos Nigeria

Our client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational reform initiatives in Nigeria
Job Description:
As the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager you will play a vital role in assessing strategizing and implementing initiatives under the Education Sector Plan and Strategic Plan. Your extensive expertise will be crucial in transforming the educational landscape through various mechanisms focusing on all spheres of education from ECCDE to Tertiary including the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system.
Responsibilities:
1. Create and implement a comprehensive M&E system to continuously track the progress of the organizations Education Transformation projects.
2. Regularly conduct capacity development for key project partner officers enhancing their skills in Strategic Planning M&E and Research through training and coaching.
3. Review key sector plans and policies and facilitate the development of mediumterm sector plans for the yearsas well as yearly strategic plans starting from 2025 to improve sector budget performance.
4. Manage the performance of the organization s projects including Planning Monitoring Measurement Evaluation and Reporting.
5. Develop an M&E Framework to guide project implementation results monitoring and measurement including input output outcome and impact monitoring.
6. Oversee baseline surveys and periodic results measurement and assessments including needs assessment learning assessments and wholechild/wholeschool assessments.
7. Prepare logframe indicator baseline and periodic measurement reports.
8. Support the development and review of activity reports research reports and periodic progress reports.
9. Develop maintain and monitor the project implementation plan and activity tracker.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- A relevant advanced degree in education business statistics economics finance or a related field.
- At least 12 years of proven direct M&E experience preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong strategic thinking and visionsetting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain partnerships.
- Knowledge of education reform trends and best practices.
- Analytical skills for datadriven decisionmaking.
