Our client is looking for a bookkeeper with 23 years’ experience (Junior Bookkeeper to Bookkeeper). Experience with trial balance recons debtors creditors bank inventory etc. This role consist of doing assisting in accounting and management accounting.

Matric

Accounting diploma/certificate – Added bonus

23 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper /Accounting

Xero Software experience an added bonus

Intermediate Excel and google sheets experience

Min Requirement

Monthly accounting and processing up to trail balance
Monthly bank reconciliations
Monthly journal entries
VAT reconciliations and return
Suppliers liaison rebate tracking reconciliations
Preparation / checking of payment batches
Inventory update on systems and reconciliations
Monthly margin reconciliation and reporting (cost accounting)
Assistance with or provision of various reporting to the business
Preparation of year end schedules to support the audit
Various other accounting and administrative duties as required by the role from time to time.
