Senior PEGA Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the design and development of PEGA applications ensuring high performance and scalability
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement best practices in PEGA development system architecture and design patterns
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Handle complex software engineering tasks related to PEGA including troubleshooting and debugging
• Integrate PEGA applications with external systems and databases
• Ensure compliance with PEGA development standards and best practices
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new PEGA technologies and tools
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
• Provide production support and resolve technical issues related to PEGA applications
• Document technical designs development activities and deployment procedures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their requirements and concerns
• Stay updated with the latest PEGA trends tools and technologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 6 years of handson experience in PEGA development and implementation
• Proficiency in Java J2EE and other relevant programming languages
• Strong understanding of PEGA PRPC architecture and its integration capabilities
• Experience in designing and implementing PEGA solutions using Smart Dispute Smart Investigate and other modules
• Solid grasp of software engineering principles and best practices
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools
• Proven track record of delivering highquality scalable and maintainable PEGA applications
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and SOA principles
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of PEGA applications
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software development lifecycle
• Excellent understanding of relational databases and SQL
