Job Description
Job Summary:Our client a leading Manufacturing company is seeking for a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the daytoday operations of our organization in Kano. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead motivate and manage a team of employees ensuring high performance and job satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and identify training needs.
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively including staff equipment and budget.
- Monitor and control operational costs to stay within budget.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize data and metrics to track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations laws and standards.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance including key metrics and KPIs.
- Communicate operational updates and issues to senior management.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Operations Management or related field
- 5 years of proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
