Job Summary:Our client is a Health Safety and Environment (HSE) distribution company committed to helping other businesses and industries maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. As a Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients new markets and industry trends. Analyze competitors and market conditions to develop effective strategies.
- Develop and implement business development strategies and plans to achieve company goals. Identify and prioritize target markets and clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing deals. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations proposals and contracts. Negotiate terms and conditions to maximize profitability.
- Attend industry events conferences and networking activities to expand the companys network and identify potential business opportunities. Develop and manage strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development efforts. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management.
- Work closely with other departments including marketing operations and finance to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
- 4 5 years of proven experience in business development sales or a related role.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends in Lagos and Nigeria.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proactive resultsoriented and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel as required.
