Our client is a combination backed Africas leading platform for vehicle maintenance & genuine aftermarket parts distribution. We are solving the problem of fragmented automotive aftersales in Africa starting from Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a SALES SPECIALIST for their passenger vehicle spare part division.

Job Summary
The role holder will drive strategic sales efforts generate significant revenue and expand our Business Portfolio under the Passenger Vehicle Parts Division. He/She has a track record of efficiently matching supply and demand efforts especially in the Passenger Vehicle autoparts businesses automotive industries and/or marketplace startups across Nigeria or/and Africa.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generating constant and valuable demand to match growing supply.
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to our aftermarket products segment.
- Identify potential markets and customer segments within the territory to maximize sales opportunities.
- Regularly visit clients and potential customers to promote products provide support and gather feedback.
- Leverage on existing networks to acquire high networth clients and overseeing the sales process for the business.
- Drive sales growth build strong relationships with clients and achieve sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Plan promotions and seek out volume customers to increase sales.
- Use market trends and analyzing data to identify business opportunities for targeted sales.
- Implement a preorder sales strategy with our target customers.
- Source and proactively manage a partner pipeline to ensure consistent growth and a regular deal flow.
- Grow and manage our provider users and develop strategic systems to ensure retention.
- Identify new business opportunities within the Passenger Vehicle Parts Division.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with importers distributors and key stakeholders.
- Proactively seek out and establish strategic partnerships to drive sales growth and increase market penetration.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the division remains competitive.
- Analyze data to assess the performance of individual products and division as a whole.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and develop promotional strategies that division growth.
- Identify best and worstperforming products and suggest strategies to enhance overall division success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree required. A Master s degree in Business Administration or a similar field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sales and business development.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales in the Passenger Vehicle spare parts division.
- Experience in aftermarket product sales/Procurement/Automotive aftersales is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain relationships with importers distributors and other key stakeholders.
- Proven track record in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive sales growth and increase market penetration.
- Experience in implementing and managing efficient sales processes including pipeline management forecasting and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey sales strategies effectively negotiate deals and build rapport with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in a senior sales role and tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated existing partnerships over time.
- Comprehensive understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry including trends regulations and customer needs.
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth. Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
