Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Coordinator in Canada. Please take a look at the detailed job description provided below. The role of a Workplace Coordinator is dedicated to cultivating an exceptional working environment for all members of the organization. By providing comprehensive support services for the office and promoting the bestinclass atmosphere the Facilities Coordinator ensures that every employee can thrive. This is an onsite opportunity which requires offers a 40hour week with flexibility in scheduling. There may be occasional evening or weekend requirements depending on the needs of the job.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the workplace is clean organized and ready for use. Regularly check and maintain the spaces to keep them in top condition.
  • Handle and resolve officerelated questions and problems efficiently.
  • Create a great experience for everyone including employees new hires visitors and guests.
  • Order and restock food snacks and office supplies as needed.
  • Work closely with teams like AV/IT Security and property management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay connected to the business to understand how providing a great workplace impacts the team.
  • Track and manage reports metrics and documentation on SharePoint.
  • Support the team by documenting processes suggesting improvements and identifying workflow issues.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure good service and maintain strong relationships.
  • Use the workplace ticketing system to handle service requests repairs and maintenance needs efficiently. Close tickets promptly after completing the work.
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues coordinating with outside vendors when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in workplace management facilities or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of building control systems environmental systems workplace technology and audio/visual is a plus.
  • Experience managing vendors and implementing corporate safety programs.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Friendly energetic and professional customer service attitude.
  • Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Organized able to prioritize tasks and detailoriented.
  • Selfmotivated eager to learn and able to manage workload independently.
  • Able to collaborate with other departments in the company.
