Job Description
Responsibilities: Oversee operations of the lithium spodumene flotation and ball mill processing plant Manage plant personnel including hiring training and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with safety environmental and quality standards Optimize plant efficiency and productivity Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee equipment repairs Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products Liaise with procurement artisanal miners and ore traders to ensure consistent supply Prepare and manage budgets for plant operations Report on plant performance and key metrics to senior management Implement and maintain quality control processes Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in mineral processing plant management Prior senior management experience in leadzinc flotation plants in Nigeria Strong understanding of flotation and ball mill processes optimization Excellent analytical problemsolving leadership and team management skills Familiarity with Nigerian mining regulations and environmental standards Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus Bachelors degree in Metallurgy Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred Preferred Qualifications: Experience in lithium processing Knowledge of artisanal mining practices and ore trading Familiarity with the Nasarawa region and its mining landscape Benefits: Health insurance Pension Additional benefits commensurate with experience Remuneration: NGNMonthly Gross
