Job Description

JOB TITLE: REGIONAL MANAGER TRADE
JOB DESCRIPTION
A Regional Manager s responsible for overseeing and managing sales and operations across a designated
geographic region. The role involves ensuring the company s products are effectively distributed displayed and sold
in retail outlets while also maintaining strong relationships with retained partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales and Revenue Management
a. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales goals
b. Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to meet or exceed sales objectives
c. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify pain points take corrective measures to identify
and augment growth opportunities
2. Team Leadership and Management
a. Lead motivate and manage a team of sales representatives and managers
b. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
c. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance
3. Market and Competitor Analysis
a. Stay informed about market trends competitive products and activities and new products
development
b. Provide insights and recommendations senior management.
c. Adjust strategies based on market dynamics and competitive activities
4. Customer Relationship Management
a. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management
b. Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and ensure the same is
documented for evaluation and further enhancement of customer satisfaction levels
c. Implement customer feedback to improve service quality.
5. Distribution and Supply Chain Management
a. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability and distribution
b. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment
6. Reporting and Communication
a. Timely preparation and submission of regular reports on regional performance
b. Effective communication between the regional team and head office.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

1. Education: MBA/HND in sales and marketing
2. Experience: A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in sales and management within the retail & FMCG
industry. An exposure to modern trade would be an added advantage.
3. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve the sales and company objectives
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills to analyze sales data and market trends
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal & written communication skills
6. Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills with retail partners
7. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
8. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS office and exposure to CRM/Sales software

Benefits

Salary: N350k 450k plus incentives to start with (We are open for a review of salary if the candidate is really deserving)
