Business Analyst - Intermediate

Job Description: Project: Customer Experience (CX) Unit

Language: Project language is German requiring a minimum of C2 proficiency or native fluency.

Context: The Intermediate Business Analyst will be working within the Customer Experience (CX) unit of Client assisting in the strategic development and operation of digital products aimed at enhancing the complete travel experience for Client partners. The role involves analyzing business processes identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring that solutions are aligned with the clients business requirements. The service provision starts on September 1 2024 and ends on December 31 2029.

Services Required: The Intermediate Business Analyst will be responsible for the following services:

• Business Process Analysis:
• Analyze and identify business processes to uncover weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and present solutions that meet business requirements while being efficient and effective.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with business units to identify and implement business requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure solutions align with client requirements.
• Cooperate with responsible business units to prepare training material ensuring effective use of new solutions by the clients personnel.
• Validation and Documentation:
• Validate solutions to ensure they meet the clients business requirements.
• Document business requirements and solutions effectively ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
• Confidential Information Handling: Manage and handle sensitive or confidential data within a controlled and secure environment.

Project Details: Location:

• The project is primarily based in Germany with both onsite and remote work required.
• The service provision is planned over multiple years with a total planned volume of 220 persondays per year.

Technical Requirements: Mandatory: Experience:

• 3 years of experience in requirements management and business process analysis.
• 3 years of experience in technical architecture including conception modeling and coordination of crossteam architectures.
• 3 years of experience in communication and stakeholder management including coordination of interface partners.
• 2 years of experience with the railway transport company or railway operation knowledge.
• Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in agile work organization including project and process tracking with tools like Jira Software Confluence and Git.

Desirable (Should): Additional Skills:

• Several years of experience in documentation modeling and analysis of processes and components using BPMN UML.
• Experience in problemsolving and work organization knowhow including communication and moderation.
• Development application and configuration skills in JavaScript and JSON using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Certification: Prince 2 Foundation Certification or equivalent.
