Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets for animal feeds.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers livestock producers feed distributors and other key stakeholders.
- Provide clients with detailed information about products including benefits usage instructions and pricing.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and new product developments.
- Provide product training and support to clients and internal teams as needed.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance market trends and client feedback.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales in the agricultural or animal feed industry.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Experience in selling animal feed products is compulsory
- Strong understanding of the agricultural sector and animal nutrition.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and other computer applications.
