Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company including preparing financial statements managing a team of accountants and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting with excellent analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  

• Manage daytoday accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable general ledger entries and payroll processing.
  

• Oversee monthend and yearend close processes.
  

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
  

• Analyze financial data and present financial reports to management.
  

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff including assigning tasks and providing guidance.
  

• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  

• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits as needed.
  

• Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
  

• Handle tax filings and coordinate with external tax accountants.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or ICAN certification preferred.
  

• A minimum of 3 5 years of progressive experience in finance management.
  

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  

• Indepth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
  

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  

• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office especially Excel.
  

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fastpaced environment.
  

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
