As a Project Engineer for Overhead Lines at Axpo you will play a central role in the planning and execution of renovation and new construction projects in the highvoltage overhead line sector (110380kV). You will be responsible for structural calculations the design of lattice towers and foundations and the creation of 3D models and plans. Your expertise in PLSCADD and TOWER will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and quality of our projects.

What you will do:

• Plan and implement renovation and new construction projects in overhead line construction (110380kV)
• Perform structural calculations and design lattice towers using TOWER
• Create structural steel plans as well as 3D formwork and reinforcement plans including part lists
• Develop BIM models with attributes
• Prepare quantity takeoffs for specifications
• Create and review PLSCADD models

What you bring & who you are:

• Degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering
• Several years of professional experience in highvoltage overhead line construction
• Excellent knowledge of PLSCADD and TOWER (Powerlinesystems)
• Experience in foundation calculation and BIM data modeling
• Proficient in CAD programs (AutoCAD 2D/3D ACC Revit Civil 3D Naviswork)
• Programming skills (FME or Python) are a plus
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with Swiss standards and plan representations
• Independent reliable and teamoriented working style
• Good knowledge of German; English or French skills are an advantage
