Our client a leading IT solutions provider is seeking a talented IT Support Officer to join their team in Bucharest. As an IT Support Officer you will handle Level 1 troubleshooting utilize knowledge bases to find solutions and escalate issues to higher support levels when necessary. Your primary goal will be to ensure smooth IT operations and provide exceptional user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Level 1 troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Search and utilize knowledge bases to resolve known problems.
- Escalate incidents to second/third level support or third parties as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed IT documentation ensuring compliance with IT policies.
- Deliver effective user training and collaborate with external vendors.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure network security and demonstrate proficiency in software development.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Familiarity with project management tools ticketing systems and CRMs.
- Experience with data management and adherence to IT policies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware software and network security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology trends.
