Job Description

Overview:

The role of a Telecaller is crucial as they are often the first point of contact for customers. Telecallers play a vital role in maintaining the reputation of the organization by providing exceptional customer service and effectively addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Provide information about products or services to potential customers.
  • Maintain customer databases.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
  • Meet daily and monthly call targets.
  • Document all call information.
  • Conduct customer surveys over the phone.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Handle paymentrelated inquiries and provide assistance with payment processing.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential leads.
  • Adhere to communication scripts and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service or telemarketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to effectively multitask.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Good listening skills and a proactive approach to customer needs.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and methods is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Customer service orientation and the ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
