Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsdriven Business Development Manager with a strong background in software sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining clients relationships and driving revenue growth within the software sector.

Experience in selling consulting analytics and technology services and solutions is essential. SAP license and technology sales experience will be an advantage.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients industry trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategic plans for software sales.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels including cold calling networking and digital outreach.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective lead generation campaigns. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand clients business needs and challenges to provide tailored software solutions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align sales strategies with product development and marketing efforts.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our software solutions.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals and achieve sales quotas within specified timeframes.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track all sales activities using CRM tools. Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing product development and customer support to ensure a cohesive and customercentric approach.
  • Stay current on industry trends emerging technologies and competitor offerings.
  • Continuously update product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business and Marketing
  • Experience in selling consulting analytics and technology services and solutions is essential.
  • Proven track record in software sales with a minimum of 57 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and the technology industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Based in either CPT or Jhb
  • 5 10 yrs sales exp in consulting and IT services
  • MS Stack SAP ERP
  • SAP license and technology sales experience will be an advantage.
