Location: Campbellton Regional Community N.B.
Job Status: Fulltime
Hourly Rate: $25.81/hr to $30.23/hr
Unionized Position

Are you our exceptional person? Join the water treatment service as an OPERATOR II, a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our community's water quality, with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. Reporting to the department manager, you will ensure the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the entire treatment plant and pumping stations included in the wastewater system. How you will make a difference: This role offers evolving responsibilities, providing a platform for you to advance while obtaining essential provincial certifications. Your responsibilities will include, among other things, coordinating and monitoring the operation of the wastewater treatment plant and related systems, inspecting and maintaining equipment, monitoring operating conditions, adjusting wastewater flow, and collecting and testing samples to ensure they meet standards. They will also record test results, manage supplies, participate in emergency protocol planning, prepare operational reports, and respond to public complaints. This role also involves general maintenance and other necessary physical and manual tasks.
