Job Summary

Are you an experienced sales leader passionate about closing deals and driving growth in a dynamic startup environment Our client ignites cultural pride and economic empowerment through African language learning. We transform native speakers in Africa into worldclass educators and connect them to paying learners worldwide focusing on Nigerians in the diaspora in the US UK and Canada.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 7 years minimum
  • Work Mode: Remote with a coworking space in Lagos

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inbound sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Associates providing guidance and coaching.
  • Oversee and continually improve the sales process from lead management to closing deals and customer onboarding
  • Analyze sales data and trends to optimize strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with founders marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction for new users and address any issues promptly.
  • Report on sales performance and provide insights to senior management.
  • Provide input and feedback to optimize direct booking/ecommerce channel




Requirements


  • Proven experience in a sales management role (Required).
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating sales teams (Required).
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems e.g. Zoho / Hubspot (Required).
  • Exposure to international customers and markets (Preferred).
  • Prior work in the Education or Tech Sectors (Preferred).
  • Experience with ecommerce and direct booking platforms (Preferred).


Other requirements:

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Undergraduate degree; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Applicants must have a functioning laptop.
  • Fluency in Igbo Yoruba or Twi is an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 1.5 million monthly gross and above salary plus performancebased bonuses
