Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Graphics Designer/Video Editor at Matta you will possess a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional skills in both graphic design and video editing. In this role you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for a range of marketing materials and producing professionalquality videos to support our brands storytelling and engagement efforts.
Key responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Creating visually appealing designs for various marketing materials including brochures flyers social media graphics and presentations.
- Developing and maintaining brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to understand project requirements and deliver highquality designs.
Video Editing:
- Editing and producing professionalquality videos such as product demos corporate videos and social media content.
- Selecting appropriate footage music and sound effects to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Ensuring videos meet technical specifications and deadlines.
InHouse Requirements:
The candidate should be based inhouse to facilitate effective collaboration and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Proven track record of creating highquality designs and videos for various marketing channels.
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of colour theory typography and layout.
- Expertise in video editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro) with a keen eye for detail and ability to create engaging visual narratives.
- Basic animation skills (e.g. After Effects) are a plus.
- Experience with creating motion graphics and animations for videos and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new software or techniques.
Additional Requirements:
- Portfolio showcasing previous work in graphic design and video editing.
- Strong understanding of branding and visual identity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
