Our client is a digital media agency in Africa that helps individuals and corporate brands position themselves online through effective digital media solutions. Due to expansion they are in need of a CONTENT EDITOR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure individuals deliver content in the highest quality possible
- Ensure content is well edited and vetted before sending out or publishing
- Ensure thorough editing of different forms of content including written text audio video designs etc.
- Adequate knowledge of SEO and content optimization practices
- Continually develop and review content guidelines and editing guidelines
- Proofreading editing and vetting all forms of content
- Publishing content on different platforms.
- Reviewing staged and scheduled content
- Manage content schedules and deadlines
- Ability to manage our team of content developers and writers
- Ability to develop and manage content workflows across the organization
- Ability to develop and manage editorial calendars
- Ability to adhere to style guidelines
- Edit and optimize content while tracking analytics
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree in English or related field
- Proven track record as a content editor
- 12 years experience in content editing
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Teachability
- Highly skilled in relationship management
- Highly skilled in resource management
- Strong problemsolving critical thinking coaching interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with human resources and customer service procedures
Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director in developing financial plans. Summarize the organization s current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements and other reports. Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting. Ensure proper allocation of resources and advice on long-term business and financial planning.
