Conduct credit review on new credit applications and other proposals involving credit exposures as well as nonperforming receivables in accordance with the company s credit policies and guidelines.
To provide coaching and guidance to junior Credit Associate (CA) on product knowledge credit assessment technique and company s internal policies and procedures.
To review reports prepared by Senior Associate (SA) and CA and to support/supervise their preparation of credit evaluation reports analysis of market conditions economic development and industry review
Perform regular updates on industry review by the rating/research houses for the reference of Business Units to keep abreast with the fastchanging business landscape and environment.
To conduct joint customer visits with Business Units and Branch visits when necessary.
To support the departments review of new products performance including risk monitoring to identify trends/risk characteristics of loan portfolio.
To undertake and assist matters in the spectrum of Risk Management related scope and any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
Degree in Business Studies Economics Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent with Chartered Banker (CB)/ Associate Chartered Banker (ACB)/ Professional Credit Certification (PCC)/ Certified Credit Professional (CCP) qualification.
Preferably possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in evaluation of commercial loans.
A team player with strong leadership skills good communication skills with a proactive problemsolving attitude.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills resourceful and attentive to details.
Possess good command of English with a flair for comprehensive report writing.
High selfmotivation and able to work independently.
Possess sense of urgency able to multitask and work under pressure.
