Job Description

Attesa Coffee is a startup specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company. The headquarter office is located in Amsterdam Netherlands and a regional office is based in Mumbai India. We work directly with producers at the origin to bring our customers (specialty coffee roasters) high quality coffees safely ontime and consistently with the use of efficient digital frameworks. We believe in traceability through the chain and are highly committed to transparency towards all our stakeholders.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who would take the lead on managing various activities related to Attesa Coffees logistical operations.

Tasks

  • Coordinate with global suppliers on shipment process post order finalization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders custom house agents (CHA) globally to facilitate freight transport including requesting quotations finalizing shipments and tracking progress
  • Negotiating contracts and rates with freight forwarders warehousing and transport partners
  • Managing shipping schedules and coordinating with carriers freight forwarders
  • Coordinate with Attesa Coffees European warehouse partners to manage entry and dispatch of inventory
  • Work with European transport partners to facilitate final customer deliveries including requesting quotations finalizing delivery orders and tracking progress
  • Communicating with clients on dispatch / transport details and providing regular updates on shipment tracking
  • Assisting European sales team by managing order delivery communication with customers
  • Reviewing and approving logistics related bills / invoices as per services provided and contracted rates

Requirements

  • 23 years experience in shipping / logistics with specific experience in international freight management export / import processes and documentation
  • Ability to manage communication with suppliers logistics partners CHAs and customers over email and phone
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability / preference to work in a dynamic / entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication skills in English
