Job Description
This is a remote position.
Xact Accounting is a fullservice accounting firm focused on helping small businesses and SME owners increase profit. As one of Australias leading building and construction accounting firms Xact Accounting is trusted by clients for various licensing regimes like QBCC Minimum Financial Requirements. Xact Accounting also offers CFO Advisory services to help business owners understand and navigate complex financial matters.
This is a fulltime remote role for a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for financial statements bookkeeping accounting software finance and journal entries. Daytoday tasks include managing and maintaining financial records preparing financial statements reconciling bank accounts and generating financial reports.
Requirements
- Experience in financial statement preparation and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong understanding of finance journal entries and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of Xero software and experience in the building and construction industry is a plus
