Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customeroriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at our jewelry store in Bangalore. As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling transactions accurately providing excellent customer service and assisting with various store tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the pointofsale (POS) system.
Handle cash credit card and other payment methods securely.
Maintain a tidy and organized cashier area.
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about our products and services.
Assist in inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise and conducting stock counts.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for customers.
Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales transactions refunds and exchanges.
Ensure compliance with all cash handling and security procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cashier preferably in a retail or jewelry store environment.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Basic computer proficiency including familiarity with POS systems.
Knowledge of jewelry and gemstones is a plus.
QualificationsGraduation required for a cashier position.
