Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert in Tender and RFP Management: Utilize your indepth knowledge of procurement rules and policies to meticulously craft RFPs and tender documents. You will navigate platforms such as MPetender and GEM with ease ensuring accurate and timely submission of bids. Your proficiency will facilitate smooth bidding processes and enhance our competitive edge in procurement.
  • Efficient Bid Evaluation and Contract Award: Independently evaluate bids based on predefined criteria conducting thorough assessments to identify the most qualified suppliers.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to procurement regulations including documentation requirements and reporting obligations. Your meticulous recordkeeping and adherence to CVC guidelines will uphold transparency and accountability in procurement practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to foster productive relationships and achieve mutual objectives.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop project budgets monitor expenditures and ensure financial accountability in accordance with project guidelines and organizational policies. Your proficiency in financial management will support effective resource allocation and budget utilization bid preparation RFP document preparation bugeting.
  • Candidate should be well versed with different procurement policyCVC guidelineJRF rules etc.
  • Knowledge of agreement drafting.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a procurement role preferably within a government or public sector organization.
  • Expertise in state government procurement rules policies and CVC guidelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating RFPs tender documents and navigating procurement portals such as MPetender and GEM.
  • Capability to independently upload tenders and manage bid evaluations.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
