Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM to 1PM EST (10:00 PM to 2:00 AM Philippine Time)


Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detailoriented Billing Cleanup Specialist to join our team on a parttime basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of billing records by identifying and resolving discrepancies errors and outdated information. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in billing finance or administrative support who are looking for flexible work hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and Audit Billing Records:

    • Conduct thorough reviews of billing records to identify discrepancies errors and inconsistencies.
    • Audit invoices statements and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Data Cleanup and Maintenance:

    • Correct errors in billing data and update records to reflect accurate information.
    • Ensure all billing records are uptodate and organized in the company s billing system.
  • Discrepancy Resolution:

    • Investigate and resolve billing disputes by communicating with internal departments and external clients as necessary.
    • Provide clear and concise documentation of issues identified and the steps taken to resolve them.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for improving billing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with team members to implement best practices in billing cleanup and maintenance.
  • Reporting:

    • Generate and distribute reports on billing activities including summaries of errors corrected and discrepancies resolved.
    • Provide regular updates to management on the status of billing cleanup efforts.


Requirements

  • Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate s or bachelor s degree in finance accounting or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing finance or administrative support roles.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficient in using billing software and financial systems.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a parttime role.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Communication:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with team members management and external clients.

Work Hours and Conditions

  • This is a parttime position requiring 20 hours of work per week.
  • Flexible scheduling options available with the possibility of remote work.
  • Occasional meetings or checkins may be required during standard business hours.
