Manager Geopolitical Threat Risk

Qatar Airways Security department are seeking an intelligence professional to lead our Geopolitical Threat and Risk team. As Manager Geopolitical Threat and Risk, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and mitigating risks that impact our people, customers, operations and assets across our diverse network. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong analytical and security background, as well as exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. In this role you will: • Lead the team’s intelligence collection, research and analysis capability; ensuring a continuous monitoring of the global security situation and geopolitical events, to identify, assesses and mitigate potential risks to Qatar Airways. • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure comprehensive risk management strategies are implemented. • Brief senior management and key internal stakeholders to support decision making – sometimes in real time -- on a strategic, tactical and operational level. • Represent Qatar Airways at internal and external industry forums. Build and maintain professional and trusted relationships with government agencies, law enforcement and security industry experts across the globe to support information sharing. • Oversee the team’s delivery of intelligence products and briefings, ensuring a consistently high standard of service delivery. • Develop and implement new processes and procedures, ensuring they are rigorous, relevant and in line with international security regulations, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, automation and digitalization.
