Job Title: Accounts Assistant DT Sacco
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Reconciliation of Bank MPESA and GL accounts.
2. Member Personal Account (MPA) updates and reconciliation.
3. Assist to prepare monthly payroll and other statutory deductions.
4. Validating and processing member refunds and payments.
5. Prepare monthly financial statements reports and records by collecting analyzing and summarizing account information
6. Filing of accountable records/documents/reports including bank reconciliation statements and Mpesa statements.
7. Debtor and Creditors updates and management.
8. Handling next of kin claims for deceased members advising on necessary documentation and preparation of payments.
9. Other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
1. A bachelor s degree in Cooperative Management Accounting or Business from a recognized University.
2. CPA (K)/ACCA
3. At least 4 years experience in carrying out finance/Accounts functions in a DepositTaking Sacco Society.
4. Working experience with MS Dynamics Navision.
5. Conversant with the Cooperative Act SACCO Act SASRA requirements and IFRS.

Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Good understanding of the internal policies systems and procedures of a SACCO.
Computer literacy skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office spreadsheet and PowerPoint applications.
