Develop implement and maintain the Quality Management System in line with industry standards
Ensure the QMS is understood implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.
Quality Assurance and Control:
Oversee and monitor QA/QC procedures and standards across all construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
Review project specifications and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Compliance and Regulation:
Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations codes and standards.
Liaise with external bodies and regulatory agencies as required.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor the QA/QC team providing guidance and support.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for the QA/QC team.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of quality assurance activities inspections and audits.
Prepare detailed reports on QA/QC activities and present findings to senior management.
Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all qualityrelated matters.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in the QA/QC processes and recommend corrective actions.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance quality management.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
Communicate with clients Sub contractors and stakeholders regarding quality issues and resolutions.
Address and resolve any qualityrelated concerns raised by clients or project teams.
Project Support:
Support project teams in identifying and addressing qualityrelated issues during construction.
Ensure that materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
Additional certifications in Quality Management (e.g. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the civil construction industry.
Proven experience in managing QA/QC teams and implementing quality systems for largescale projects.
Skills:
Indepth knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
The position may require frequent travel to various construction sites.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
