Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Quality Management System (QMS):

    • Develop implement and maintain the Quality Management System in line with industry standards

    • Ensure the QMS is understood implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.

  2. Quality Assurance and Control:

    • Oversee and monitor QA/QC procedures and standards across all construction projects.

    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.

    • Review project specifications and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  3. Compliance and Regulation:

    • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations codes and standards.

    • Liaise with external bodies and regulatory agencies as required.

  4. Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor the QA/QC team providing guidance and support.

    • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for the QA/QC team.

  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain comprehensive records of quality assurance activities inspections and audits.

    • Prepare detailed reports on QA/QC activities and present findings to senior management.

    • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all qualityrelated matters.

  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement in the QA/QC processes and recommend corrective actions.

    • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance quality management.

  7. Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

    • Communicate with clients Sub contractors and stakeholders regarding quality issues and resolutions.

    • Address and resolve any qualityrelated concerns raised by clients or project teams.

  8. Project Support:

    • Support project teams in identifying and addressing qualityrelated issues during construction.

    • Ensure that materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.

    • Additional certifications in Quality Management (e.g. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are desirable.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the civil construction industry.

    • Proven experience in managing QA/QC teams and implementing quality systems for largescale projects.

  • Skills:

    • Indepth knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations.

    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.

Working Conditions:
  • The position may require frequent travel to various construction sites.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
