About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in optimizing distribution networks and driving sales growth particularly in the innerwear sector. The preferred candidate for the role of Deputy Manager (Sales & Distribution). The proposed candidate must have a deep understanding of the innerwear market and a strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
a) Strategic Distribution Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies to maximize market penetration and product availability.
- Analyze market trends customer demands and geographic factors to optimize distribution networks.
- Identify and establish new distribution channels and partnerships.
b) Distribution Network Management:
- Oversee and manage the entire distribution network ensuring seamless and costeffective product delivery.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient inventory management.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse operations transportation and distribution centers to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
c) Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align distribution schedules with manufacturing outputs.
- Implement best practices for inventory management including tracking and reporting systems.
d) Vendor and Partner Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors wholesalers and retail partners.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with distribution partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of distribution partners to ensure compliance and efficiency.
e) Sales Management:
- Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets for the innerwear division.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts distributors and retailers.
- Oversee the sales pipeline ensuring accurate forecasting and effective territory management.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency and effective product positioning in the market.
f) Team Leadership:
- Lead mentor and develop the distribution and sales teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for the teams conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the teams.
g) Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present detailed reports on distribution and sales performance including key metrics such as delivery times costs inventory levels and sales targets.
- Use datadriven insights to refine distribution and sales strategies and address any inefficiencies or challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in distribution logistics and sales.
