Our multinational client who deals in FastMoving Consumable Goods (FMCG) is looking to hire an experienced Regional Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team. Reporting to the General Manager you will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase sales managing existing accounts prospecting for customers and providing excellent customer service to retain customers.
Responsibilities.
- Develop sales and marketing strategy for Ashanti Region in line with the goals and objectives of the company.
- Liaise with the Head of sales and marketing in planning and implementing regional promotional campaigns.
- Manage and improve on regional lead generation campaign and accelerate sales growth.
- Coordinate marketing campaign for sales activities.
- Liaise with Head of internal audit to ensure the branch is compliance to statutory regulations and company policies.
- Direct and supervise branch staff on the daytoday operations in the branch/regions including delivery of quality customer service.
- Oversee the branch sales and marketing budget.
- Assign targets to team members in order to achieve individual s weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Responsible for regional brand management and corporate identity.
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of regional marketing communication to the Head of sales & marketing.
- Liaise with Head of HR Department on training development and appraisals of branch sales staff.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other departmental heads to achieve branch and company objectives.
- Perform any other duty as may be duly assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor s Degree Business Administration Accounting Commerce Marketing Economics or any related field.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in the same or similar role.
- Excellent critical thinking problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Should possess knowledge in the use of ERP Next or similar software for approval and receipts tracking.
- Excellent organizational communication (written and verbal) interpersonal team playing and time management skills.
- Possess excellent negotiation and sales skills.
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Software suite (i.e. MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
