JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Commercial Manager with a proven track record in commercial and Sales management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple stores within a designated region ensuring that each location meets and exceeds sales targets maximizes profitability and maintains excellent brand representation. The role requires strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams strategic decisionmaking to drive commercial success and the ability to analyze sales data to optimize store performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regional Store Management:
- Oversee the operations of multiple fashion retail stores within the region.
- Ensure that each store meets its sales and profitability targets by optimizing operations and sales strategies.
- Develop and implement regional sales plans that align with the companys overall objectives.
- Monitor store performance through regular visits providing feedback and support to store managers.
2. Sales & Stock Analysis:
- Analyze sales and stock data to ensure stores are strategically merchandised to maximize sales opportunities.
- Identify trends and opportunities within the sales data to optimize product placement and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the central merchandising team to ensure product assortments meet local demand.
3. Commercial Success:
- Demonstrate a strong track record of commercial success in fashion retail.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and increase profit margins.
- Take strategic decisions regarding product placement pricing and promotions to maximize sales at every opportunity.
- Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the competitive fashion retail space.
4. Leadership & Team Motivation:
- Lead motivate and inspire store teams to achieve the company s objectives.
- Act as a role model and influence teams by promoting company values and demonstrating exceptional leadership.
- Provide training coaching and development opportunities for store managers and sales teams to improve performance and achieve targets.
- Foster a positive resultsdriven work culture where employees are engaged and motivated to succeed.
5. Strategic DecisionMaking:
- Develop and execute regional strategies to ensure optimal store performance.
- Take proactive and strategic decisions regarding staffing product mix and store operations to ensure longterm growth.
- Use data insights and market knowledge to inform decisionmaking processes and ensure alignment with the companys goals.
6. ProblemSolving & DecisionMaking:
- Identify and address operational and salesrelated challenges proactively.
- Implement solutions that drive operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
7. Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the regional stores and the corporate office ensuring smooth communication and operational alignment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers corporate teams and key stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication of company goals strategies and expectations to the store teams.
8. Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Provide regular reports on store performance including sales data KPIs stock levels and profitability.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
- Lead performance reviews and ensure accountability for store managers in meeting targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within the fashion retail industry.
- Proven success in managing multiple stores or a region with a strong focus on driving commercial performance.
- Advanced English proficiency both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to interpret sales and stock data.
- Proactive and possessing strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills to resolve issues and optimize operations.
- Demonstrated success in a commercial role with a strong ability to drive revenue and profitability.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of building strong relationships with store managers and corporate teams.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams to achieve objectives and improve performance.
- A strategic thinker who can influence others and drive business growth through datadriven decisions.
- Experience using sales and stock analysis to inform merchandising and operational decisions.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment adapting to market changes and internal company strategies.
Experience working in, managing and directing a sales team/Preferably working in the fashion industry. Excellent project management skills with the ability to work cross functionally, engaging with all stakeholders of a campaign and ensuring it's delivered on time and to a high standard Strategic Thinker and good team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration , sales or in related field
