Job Description



We are looking for an IT Auditor to join our clients team. You will form part of the IT specialists team within the Advisory service line of the company. You will be conducting IT audit activities including general IT control reviews IT application controls audits and data analytics assignments in support of financial audits as well as internal audits engagements. You will be dealing with their key clients in the iGaming insurance and financial services industries.



ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is one of the leading multidisciplinary audit accounting tax and advisory firms and is located in Birkirkara.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand the IT environment of their clients.
  • Assess the associated risks and evaluate the control effectiveness.
  • Identify weaknesses in the IT control framework.
  • Report on findings and put forward recommendations.
  • Timely collate audit file and reports including communication of findings to senior management.
  • Perform IT audit action items followups on previously raised findings.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • You have a good working knowledge of SQL Excel and CAATs.
  • You also possess excellent English spoken and report writing skills.
  • You have an assertive character an ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients as well as a strong willingness to learn.
  • A methodological approach to work and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges are essential ingredients to the success of this role.
  • You are proactive a team player have an eye for detail and are selfmotivated.
  • You thrive working in a deadline driven environment.
EDUCATION
  • You hold a tertiary degree in IT Business and Computing or Accountancy.
  • Candidates holding CISA certification or are planning to obtain CISA certification will be given preference.
WORKING TIME

Flexibility in starting time from 07:00 till 09:30 40 hours per week with 60 minutes break.

Minimum of two years of experience on a similar role. - Able to use Microsoft Office programmes like Excel, Outlook, Word and SAGE. - Very good command of English both written and spoken. Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing. - The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it s information for the company or for individuals. - Ability to work both independently and in a team. - Problem-solving ability and highly organised. - Eagerness to learn and support in different sectors. - Be able to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments. - Social and happy to work in a dynamic environment. - Team oriented, and keen to engage with colleagues as team fit is the key. - A self-starter, highly organised and have an eye for detail.
